Noahs Ark

I bought this primitive Ark set from Sam's Club about 6 years ago. The animals entering the ark 2x2 always bring a smile to my face.

Welcome to The Lake

Have a seat on the porch, will sip a cold drink and get aquainted. We have been comeing to this lake since 1976, when my parents bought a place around the corner. Dad didn't buy waterfront, he thought the bugs may be too bad.. so years later, in 1998 we started looking for a retirement place..we wanted a little lake front spot to build on when we retired..thinking let's buy some land and not build for several years. We saw this lot for sale, one we had seen many times on our way to the boat ramp (three houses away from here) . We bought it..and had the house (shell stage) built in 2000. AND then the fun began..yes it was time to do all the inside, electrical, plumbing, sheet rock. AND we did it all just the two of us. We are still married!!!! We did pay someone to install the clear stream septic, install upstairs carpet, put up a metal garage, and repaint the house..THE REST we DID.
