I did this surround wall in my master bath area in about 2013... I do not see that I ever posted it..so today is the day... I know I counted the hours as I worked on it.. it took 173 hours.. a lot of glass.and man did I kill my periformis butt muscle.. it took 2 years to heal.. and it will act up still... But here she is.. For the faucet and knobs i used glue and fine fine glitter.. several coats, then I clear coated it so it would stay on good.. This jacuzzie tub does have a shower...but its rarely used.. If we need it for when more company comes.. I can quickly put up a tension shower rod, add the curtain and good to go..but normaly nothing is hung up there... I used a projecter to project my pattern I drew off onto the walls.. I also tried a new technique of cutting the glass a little differnt than just squares like i usually do... I did add flat marbles to help fill in some areas.... I also used anaglypta paper for the ceiling..I tried rubbing silver rub n buff onto it after it was painted white to look like old tin ceiling.. nope.. so I tried painting ceiling silver and add dry brushes of white..nope.. so I just repainted it white and left it... glued shells on the light fixture/fan..and replaced the tile with a white wash laminate floor. .
